Mumbai, Nov 4: Precious metals today surged ahead on strong global advices with silver advanced by Rs 450 per kg and gold by Rs 155 per ten gm during the week ended November 3 on the Bombay Bullion Exchange.

Pure gold zoomed to a nearly two year high at Rs 10,340 per ten gm with a big gain of Rs 190 on November 3.
