Barmer, Nov 4 (UNI) After a temporary lull phase during the month of Ramzan, the number of passengers travelling to Pakistan by the Thar Express is again on the rise.

The weekly service of the international train, connecting Munabao(India) and Khokhrapar (Pakistan), yesterday arrived at Munabao from Jodhpur with 384 passengers--179 Pakistanis and 205 Indians-- and proceeded for Khokhrapar across the zero line after routine checking of passengers.

The number of passengers on this train had declined considerably during the holy month of Ramzan but after Id, it is again showing a rising trend, railway officials said.
