Militant hideout busted, arms seized in Kashmir

Srinagar, Nov 4: Security forces busted a militant hideout and seized arms and ammunition, including grenades, detonators and mortars in the border district of Baramulla last evening, a defence spokesman said today.

He said troops of 57 Rashtriya Rifles (RR) launched a search operation in general area of Buth forerst, Sonarwain in north Kashmir's Baramulla district last evening, following a tip-off.

During busted a hideout and seized a large quantity of arms and ammunition, include one disposable Rocket Launcher, two grenades, seven IED circuit, 104 electric detonators, 135 rounds of different rifles, two bombs of 36 MM Mortar, two RPG ammunition, one pistol magazine, one PIKA belt box, two PIKA belt magazines, one Iron AK Butt and a Magnetic compass.

However, no arrests have been made in this connection, the spokesman added.
