Diwali Asthanam in Tirumala on Nov 9

Tirumala, Nov 4: The annual Diwali Asthanam will be conducted at Lord Venkateswara temple in Tirumala on November nine.

In view of the Utsavam, Arijitha Sevas, such as Thomala, Archana, Nijapada Darsanam, Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva, Brahmotsavam and Vasanthotsavam was cancelled in the temple for the day, However, Suprabhatham, Abhishekam and Sahasra Deepalankara seva will be performed as usual, TTD said in a release here yesterday.

Special programmes such as Visesha Samarpana to Malayappa Swamy with Ubhaya Nancharyulu and Senadhipathi to be performed by 0600 hrs. Visesha Padi procession, Visesha Nuthana Vastraam around Vimana Prakaram, Dwajasthambham to Sannidhi, Samarpana to Moolavarlu and Malayappa Swamy and Asthanam at Bangaru Vakili will be conducted between 0700 hrs to 0900 hrs in the temple on this occasion.

Sahasra Deepalankara Seva and procession of the Lord around four Mada streets would take place between 1730 hrs to 1930 hrs on the same day, the release added.
