Barnala wishes TNCC President speedy recovery

Chennai, Nov 3 (UNI) Tamil Nadu Governor S S Barnala today wished Tamil Nadu Congress Committee(TNCC) President M Krishnaswamy a speedy recovery.

A release from the Rajbhavan said Mr Barnala was distressed to hear about the untoward incident.

It may be recalled that Mr Krishnaswamy was attacked and stabbed with a spear by an irate mob at Keezhakannikeri village near Mudukulathur in Ramanathapuram district on October 29 on his way to attend the centenary celebrations of Muthuramalinga Thevar at Pasumpon.

The Governor also prayed to the Almighty to give Mr Krishnaswamy a long and healthy life, the release added.
