Bangladesh observes developments in Pakistan closely

Dhaka, Nov 4 (UNI) Bangladesh is closely observing the developments in Pakistan following the declaration of state of emergency by President General Pervez Musharraf.

Asked to comment on the Pakistan situation, Foreign Adviser Dr Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury said ''As a friendly country Bangladesh is observing the developments in Pakistan very closely.'' He added, ''We view the events as their internal matter. However, we hope that those in any way do not lead to any kind of instability.'' UNI
