Young engineers should develop skill: Expert

Puducherry, Nov 3: The CII Southern region ICT forum Chairman Subu D Subramanian today called up on young engineers to develop their skills to emerge as global leaders.

Inaugurating the CII's new initiative 'Enabling e-Talent', which aimed at bridging the talent gap, in the Pondicherry Engineering College here today, Mr Subramanian said that we could over come the future challenges in nano technology, bio technology and IT only by developing global leadership and hence young engineers should develop their skills.

He said that students should not remain as mere learners and service providers but understand the merging scenario as well and for that a vibrant interface between industry and institutes is essential, he added.
