Vodafone introduces validity extension service

Chennai, Nov 3: For the first time, Vodafone Essar, India's leading cellular service provider, today introduced validity extension for its prepaid mobile customers.

Subscribers who recharge for Rs 99, apart from getting validity for 30 days would now get a dual benefit of carrying over unused validity period of their current recharge to the successive one, along with the benefit of full talktime on subsequent recharges, a Vodafone release said here.

This would enable Vodafone customers to recharge anytime during the month and not wait for their validity to expire, it said.

''Earlier, if customers recharge the phone before the expiry date, they lost out the unused validity as it would get reset from the day they would recharge subsequently,'' it added.
