Two betting rackets in Delhi busted; 9 held

New Delhi, Nov 3 (UNI) Altogether nine men were today arrested in the capital for allegedly operating two separate betting rackets.

Ram Babu, Bablu and Raju were arrested from the Gautam Vihar area in north-east Delhi and Rs 5,260 were recovered from them, police said today.

In the other case, six poeple, identified as Nasruddin, Bhagwan Dass, Johrool Sheikh, Hasmat, Aryender Kumar and Rahis Miyan, were nabbed from the New Usman Pur area and Rs 13,800 were recovered from their possession.

A case under Gambling Act has been registered against all of them.
