Saint poet's keertans to be translated into all languages

Tirupati, Nov 2 (UNI) The compositions of Saint poet tallapaka Annamacharya, who composed over 34,000 keertans on Lord Venkateswara, would be brought out in all major languages shortly, TTD Chairman B Karunakara Reddy said today.

Addressing a press conference here, he said one V Narayana Rao, residing in the US for the last 40 years, had translated the keertans into English. TTD is ready to publish the keertans in other languages, he added.

Mr Reddy, who returned here after performing the 600th Jayanthi celebrations of Annamacharya in Kuwait and Birmingham, claimed that the week-long trip was a big success and said such celebrations would also be conducted in the US, Singapore and other countries.
