Night temperatures above normal in Manipur, Gujarat

Pune, Nov 3 (UNI) Night temperatures were appreciably above normal in Manipur, Tripura, West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Gujrat, north Konkan, north Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, Vidarbha, Telangana and in some parts of Rajasthan, Rayalaseema and north Tamil Nadu.

They were above normal in Assam and Meghalaya and north coastal Karnataka and in some parts of Uttar Pradesh and coastal Andhra Pradesh. They were normal over the rest of the country.

Heavy rains are likely to occur at many places in coastal Karnataka, Kerala and Lakshadweep.

Rains or thundershowers are likely to occur at a few places in Tamil Nadu and at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, West Bengal and Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, Bihar, south Gujarat region, Saurashtra and Kutch, Konkan and Goa, south Madhya maharashtra, Marathwada, Andhra Pradesh and interior Karnataka.

Mainly dry weather will prevail over north Gujarat region, north Madhya Maharashtra.

Rains or thundershowers occurred at a few places in Nagaland, Manaipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Lakshadweep and at isolated places over Assam, Meghalaya, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Orissa, Jharkhand, east Madhya Pradesh, Vidarbha, Saurashtra and Kutch, Madhya Maharashtra, Marathwada, coastal Andhra Pradesh, south interior Karnataka and Andaman and Nicobar.

Mainly dry weather prevailed over Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar, west Madhya Pradesh, Chattisgarh, Gujarat region, Konkan and Goa, Telangana, Rayalaseeema coastal and north interior Karnataka.
