Monkey business at Team India camp

Kolkata, Nov 03 (UNI) Just as Team India was about to wrap up things at the nets on the second day of their conditioning camp, it had a brush with a macca mulatta, who checked in to apparently see the proceedings.

Macca Mulatta, popularly known as a monkey, bounced from the gallery on the eastern end of the Eden Gardens and went close to the nets and intently saw Virender Sehwag and Gautam Gambhir batting, before he started checking out on their kit bags and gears.

After an immediate chase from the ground staff the monkey bounced up the gallery and straight to the press enclosure. After a few moments of pondering and sightseeing, the ape disappeared much to the amusement of all.
