Indian expat dies aboard Mumbai flight

Dubai, Nov 3 (UNI) An Indian worker aboard a Saudi Arabian Airlines flight from Jeddah to Mumbai via Riyadh died of a suspected heart attack yesterday.

According to airport authorities, Abdullah Mohideen developed chest pain during the flight and was pronounced dead at the King Khaled International Airport when the aircraft made a scheduled landing at Riyadh.

The Mohideen was (45) a gas station worker in Yanbu. He complained of chest pain as soon as the plane was airborne. Airport police is making further inquiries into the death.

Mohideen hails from Kerala and is survived by two daughters and a son. He was travelling to India on holiday, his sponsor told a Saudi daily.

His body kept at the central morgue at a Riyadh hospital and would be handed over to his brother who also works in Saudi Arabia.
