CR to run 26 extra trains to clear Diwali rush

Mumbai, Nov 3 (UNI) The Central Railway (CR) will run 26 extra special trains from November 6 to 18 to clear the rush during Diwali.

Two special trains will run from Dadar to Gorakhpur, two will run from Dadar to Patna and 22 other from Dadar to Madgaon, an official release said here today.

The 151-A Down Gorakhpur special train will leave Dadar at 0035 hrs on November 6 and reach Gorakhpur the next day at 1140 hrs. The 152-A Up Dadar special train will leave Gorakhpur at 2200 hrs on November 7 and will reach Dadar at 0650 hrs on November 9.

Similarly, the 157-A Down Patna special train will leave Dadar at 0035 hrs on November 11 and arrive at Patna at 1100 hrs on the next day. The 158-A Up Dadar special will leave Patna at 1920 hrs on November 18 and arrive at Dadar at 0430 hrs the next day.

The 2051-A Madgaon special will leave Dadar at 0530 hrs every Wednesday from November 7 to 16 and arrive at Madgaon at 1355 hrs the same day. The 2052-A Dadar special will leave Madgaon at 1420 hrs every Thursday from November 8 to 17 and arrive at Dadar at 2255 hrs the same day, the release added.
