Court issues production warrant against JD(U) MLA Anant Singh

Patna, Nov 03 (UNI) The Chief Judicial Magistrate of Patna today issued production warrant against incarcerated JD(U) MLA Anant Kumar Singh in a case relating to alleged assault on a reporter of a private news agency.

Issuing the warrant on the prayer of Patna police, the court directed the Superintendent of Beur model central jail to produce Mr Singh in the court for judicial custody in the said case on November seven.

Mr Singh was already lodged in Beur jail in another case relating to wrongful confinement and assault on a reporter of a private national news channel since his arrest by Patna police on November 01.
