BJP, RSS trying to 'scuttle' communal harmony: Pinarayi

Palakkad, Nov 3 (UNI) The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the RSS are trying to scuttle the efforts of the CPI(M)'s in protecting the interests of the minorities in the Kerala, party State Secretary Pinarayi Vijayan alleged today.

After visiting the houses of two CPI(M) activists, Ravindran and Gopalakrishnan, who were allegedly killed by RSS workers in the district, Mr Vijayan told newspersons here that ''the murder was the last example of the RSS's attempt to spread communal violence in the state.'' The party would take care of the victim' s families, he added.

Two CPI (M) workers were killed following a clash between CPI (M) and BJP activists at Kahukakunnu near Malampuzha here on October 29.
