India slips in Global Competitive Index

World
Economic
Forum
or
WEF"s
Global
Competitive
Index
2007
India
has
slipped
six
places
in
the
list
of
the
world's
most
competitive
nations
and
is
currently
ranked
48th.
However, WEF has ranked India 31st ahead of China at the 57th position on an accompanying list of 'Business Competitive Index', published for the first time. USA tops the list and has been followed by Switzerland, Denmark, Sweden and Germany.
