India fastest growing mobile market

New Delhi, Nov 02, 2007 : According to a report released by the Boston-based Pyramid Research, India is the fastest growing mobile market. Contrary to popular perception, India, and not China, will now add the most new subscribers to the international mobile telephony market.

The report titled, 'The next billion: How emerging markets are shaping the mobile industry' says that the global mobile market will go through exceptional changes over the next few years, adding around a billion new subscribers.
