Multicrore forgery case unearthed

Pune, Nov 2 (UNI) Police today unearthed a massive fraud amounting to Rs 7.37 crore and arrested a person in this connection.

Krantikumar Nivrutti Waghmare (41) was arrested in the multi-crore forgery by a finance company which had duped over 1,850 investors, police said.

The police had earlier arrested Anil Pandharinath Bharambe (40) from Thane and Santosh Dadasaheb Shinde (30) of Kothrud in this regard.

They were sent into magisterial custody.

However, the main accused Premchand Kamble of Thane has gone missing ever since a cheating case was registered against him with the Chathushrungi police station.
