Meeting held to execute Knowledge City project

Chandigarh, Nov 2 (UNI) Punjab Chief Secretary Ramesh Inder Singh today held a meeting to finalize the layout out plan of Knowledge City to be set up at Sector 81 of Mohali district.

It was informed in the meeting that the Government had already acquired 381 acres of land for the purpose.

The layout plan showing parcels of land to be allocated to Indian Institute of Science Education&Research, Nanotechnology, NABI, BIO-Technology and Management Institute was discussed in the meeting and it was unanimously decided to approve it with minor modifications and readjustments.

It was emphasized to have one single agency which would detail out the layout and architecture plan for achieving not only homogeneity and uniformity within the sector but to provide integrated infrastructure and common facilities in an intergraded manner.
