Ambuja cement Oct shipments up 3.6 pc

New Delhi, Nov 2:Country's third-largest cement maker Ambuja Cements today said its October shipments increased 3.6 per cent to 1.48 million tonnes (MT) from 1.43 MT a year ago.

Production rose an annual 4.8 per cent to 1.51 MT, the company said in a statement.

Swiss cement maker Holcim owns about 40 per cent of Ambuja Cements.
