VC of Rohelkhand varsity booked for murder

Bareilly, Nov 1: Three persons, including Vice-chancellor of Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohelkhand University, his wife and son, have been booked in a murder case here.

Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Vijay Prakash said today.

He said ''Ankur, student of Radha Madhav Public school, was found dead on September 21. His body was recovered from Ambala railway station.'' The deceased was a relative of varsity's VC Om Prakash and was residing with him, he added.

The deceased's father Adesh Kumar had alleged the hand of the VC behind the crime.

A case had been registered against the VC, his wife and son yesterday.
