Yadav assumes charge as new DGP in AP

Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) SSP Yadav today assumed charge as the new Director General of Police (DGP) of Andhra Pradesh at the State police headquarters.

The incumbent DGP MA Basith, who was retiring today, had handed over his office to Mr Yadav.

The Government had appointed Mr Yadav, who was the Director General of Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB), as the new incumbent yesterday.

Talking to newspersons here after assuming charge, Mr Yadav said 'I have just taken charge and will try my best to emulate the principles followed by my predecessors. I am always available to common people to render my service.'' UNI
