Two killed by gunmen in Noida: police kill two attackers

Noida, UP, Oct 31 (UNI) Two persons were killed and one injured in firing which took place outside Noida Phase-II police station this afternoon.

Police subsequently shot dead two of the attackers.

According to police, three people, Harbir, Sanjay and Kripal were returning home from the court after their hearing for a case when some unidentified assailants in a Gypsy hit their motorcycles from behind. After hitting the motorcycles the miscreants shot at the riders on the bikes.

Harbir and Sanjay were killed on the spot whereas Kripal was seriously injured and was admitted in the District hospital of Noida. According to sources,the firing was a result of old rivalry.

Police followed the Gypsy after receiving information and killed two miscreants in an encounter near Sorkha village.

Investigation is on.
