The three members Ramesh Jigajinigi, H T Sangliana and K B Shanappa expressed their inability to join the party MPs delegation to meet Prime Minister at New Delhi today to pressurise on initiating steps to form a new government.
Mr Ramesh told to the sources from Jodhpur that they were preoccupied with the Defence Parliamentary Committee meeting as they were scheduled earlier to discuss several important issues concerning the defence sector. "Though we are not able to be physically present at the time of meeting the Prime Minister, we are totally supporting the party's stand ad Mr Yeddyurappa's claim to form a new government in Karnataka", they added.
Senior party leaders from the state including state party chief S Sadananda Gowda, B S Yeddyurappa and Ananth Kumar were in New Delhi to meet the Prime Minister along with the delegation members.
