Students suspended for ragging

Thrissur, Oct 31 (UNI) Five students of an engineering college at Thalakottukara, near here, were suspended for allegedly ragging a junior student.

Police said the Principal of the Institute suspended the final year students.

The Erumapatty police had started investigations into the case, following a complaint by the Principal.

The students were absconding.

They had allegedly ragged a first year civil engineering student on October 18, police added.
