Soil science convetion at BAU from November two

Ranchi, Oct 31 (UNI) The Indian Society of Soil Science will hold a four-day convention on soil sciences at the Birsa Agricultural University (BAU) from November two.

Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture at the BAU A K Sarkar, also the organising secretary of the convention, said here today that scientists from various universities would participte and present their research papers at the convention.

Discussions over managing soil and water for high productivity of crops would also be held during the programme, Mr Sarkar added.
