Satyam inks pact with Cisco on health management
Hyderabad, Oct 31 (UNI) Satyam Computer Services today announced a 100 million US Dollar collaboration with Cisco to explore a new venture which will optimise, deploy and manage medical distress and health management solutions for global markets.
In a statement here today, Satyam Founder-Chairman B Ramalinga Raju claimed the company had deep expertise in integrated health solutions and developed a health IT framework -- "Distress to Discharge (D2DTM)." The Integrated Health Solution provides individuals with access to first response, professional healthcare advice and support with rapid access to trained medical experts either at designated local health centres or over a fixed and mobile phone infrastructure.
Cisco Chairman and CEO John Chambers said "Cisco is committed to maximise the purposeful social impact by using technology as an enabler and platform for positive change.
