Reward to police team for killing 2 history-sheeters

Basti, Oct 31 (UNI) A cash reward of Rs 27,500 and out-of-turn promotions were today announced for the police team involved in killing of two wanted criminals in an encounter here.

Police Superintendent Anand Swaroop said, while addressing newspersons here, ''Shiv Prasad and Pramod Chaudhary, who were carrying bounty of Rs 5,000 each on their head, were shot dead in an encounter by Kotwali police late last night.'' Following which, the winning team would be given reward and promotions, he added.
