Kolkata, Oct 31 (UNI) A day after quizzing two IPS officers, the CBI today grilled industrialist Ashok Todi, father-in-law of Rizwanur Rahman, and Trinamool Congress MLA Javed Khan in connection with the mysterious death of the computer graphics teacher.
CBI Joint Director Arun Kumar told reporters that Mr Todi, along with his brother Pradip Todi, cousin Anil Sarogi and former Ranji cricketer Snehasish Ganaguly were questioned separately for a long time.
Later in the day, CBI sleuths also started interrogating Trinamool Congress MLA Javed Khan, who had allegedly tried to influence Rizwanur and his wife Priyanka to break their marriage.
The CBI had started a case of murder against Ashok Todi, owning a hosiery goods manufacturing company, in connection with Rizwanur's death.
The body of Rizwanur was found beside the railway tracks at Patipukur on the city's northern fringe barely a month after his marriage with Priyanka.
