Mentally-unstable youth jumps from 25-foot high pole

Rajkot, Oct 31 (UNI) A mentally-unstable person sustained injuries after he climbed a 25-foot high lamp post and jumped from it last evening.

The 25-year-old youth created a stir when he climbed the pole on the Race Course Ring Road here and refused to come down despite repeated requests by the public.

The fire brigade personnel rushed to his rescue but the youth refused to come down the ladder that was put up for him. Instead, the youth later jumped down and had to be admitted to the hospital with injuries.
