Lucknow plot allotment scam: next hearing on Dec 12

Lucknow, Oct 31 (UNI) Lucknow Bench of the Allahabad High Court today extended the stay till December 31 on any action based on the report of Lucknow Divisional Commissioner Vijay Shankar Pandey regarding the state capital's alleged Gomti Nagar plot allotment scam.

The order was passed by Justices A N Verma and S N Shukla on a petition filed by Shiv Singh Yadav and three others.

The petitioners had challenged Mr Pandey's report submitted to the Uttar Pradesh government on September 26.

The report had alleged discrepancies in the allotment of 28 plots in Gomti Nagar's Vipul Khand and recommended tough action against the then Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) vice chairman and several other senior officials.

HC will hear the case on December 12.
