KSAMB official caught redhand while accepting bribe

Bangalore, Oct 31 (UNI) An official of Karnataka State Agricultural Marketing Board (KSAMB), Gulbarga was caught redhand by Lokayukta sleuths while accpeting bribe for showing official favour.

Based on a complaint from Mr V Thammanna, who is running a institution for Orphans in the lease building of KSAMB and approached First Division Assistant Ramanna Gadanchi and Rajendra S Doni who demanded Rs two lakhs.

However, the deal was settled for Rs 20,000 and on receiving the bribe Gadanchi was caught redhand by the Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police and his staff who laid a trap. Another accused Rajendras Doni was on leave.
