Jail warden nabbed with heroin

Amritsar, Oct 31 (UNI) Narcotic Cell personnel today nabbed a jail warden of Amritsar jail with 350 gm near Sultanwind canal area in this district.

Inspector J B Singh of Cell said the jail warden, Jasbir was nabbed with the contraband worth Rs 35 Lakh after the police received a tip-off.

A case has been registered against the jail warden under NDPS Act, Mr Singh said.

A pharmacist Pawan Kumar of the same jail was nabbed last month with 205 gm of heroin, he said.
