Howrah-Ranchi Express cancelled following bandh

Kolkata, Oct 31 (UNI) Howrah-Ranchi-Howrah Shatabdi Express 2019/2020 under the South Eastern Railway (SER), was cancelled following the Trinamool Congress-sponsored 12-hour statewide bandh today.

An SER release stated that 19 Up and 13 Down local trains between Howrah and Kharagpur, Panskura, Mecheda, Uluberia and Amta were also cancelled.

Train sevices were disrupted at Kulgachia, Chengail, Jakpur, Bauria, Bagnan, Ramrajatala, Radhamohanpur, Madpur, Balichak sections, for 15 minutes to three hours, the release added.
