Gopal Chandra new DGP for Orissa

Bhubaneswar, Oct 31 (UNI) Director Vigilance Gopal Chandra Nanda was today appointed the new Director General of Police (DGP), Orissa.

He succeeded Mr Amarananda Patnaik, who proceeded on leave.

A notification in this regard was issued by the state government.

Mr Anup Patnaik, a senior IPS officer and Inspector General Vigilance, will take charge of the new Director of Vigilance and Additional Director General of Police in place of Mr Nanda.

Mr M Askhaya will be the new Inspector General of Vigilance, the notification said.
