Cong leader Prithwiraj Chauvan calls on Kar Governor Thakur

Bangalore, Oct 31 (UNI) Congress observer, in charge of Karnataka, Prithviraj Chauhan today reiterated the party demand for dissolution of the Assembly and holding of elections immediately.

Speaking to newsmen here he said the Governor Rameshwar Thakur should immediately recommend dissolution of the Assembly to end political uncertainty and horse trading of legislators in the state.

Mr Chauvan arrived in the city last night and held discussions with the local leaders including Dharam Singh and State party Chief Mallikarjun Kharge on latest political developments prevailed in the state.

He was scheduled to meet Governor later in the evening.
