Call money opens at 6.00 pc

Mumbai, Oct 31 (UNI) Inter Bank call money rates today opened at 6.10 per cent as against its previous close of 6.00 per cent on increased fresh demand from bankers in wake of lesser funds in the market.

During intra-day, call rates fluctuated between 6.05 and 6.20 per cent, dealers said.

The rates have been hovering in the range of 6.00-6.10 per cent in the past few weeks and, are likely to remain at this level in the near future, dealers added.
