Mumbai, Oct 31: Rejecting Bollywood actor Aamir Khan's plea, a local court today granted his brother Faisal Khan's custody to their father for a temporary period of one month.

While granting Faisal Khan's custody to the father, the 9th Metropolitan Magistrate's Court at Bandra has asked the former to present himself before the Khar police on alternate days.

Aamir Khan had moved an application before the court seeking the custody of his brother, Faisal.

The court has also advised Faisal to take the medicines as prescribed by the State Government-run J J Hospital doctors for his mental aliment.

Faisal had been admitted in the psychiatric ward of the J J Hospital here since October 16.

Yesterday, he had told the court that he did not want to stay with his brother, Aamir. He had also told the court that he had not taken any medicine during his stay in the hospital. Aamir had forced him to take medicines in the past, Faisal had told the court.

The hospital has submitted a report before the court stating that Faisal is suffering from a schizo-affective psychosis and had partial remission at present.
