Several casualties in Pakistan blast-witnesses
ISLAMABAD, Oct 30 (Reuters) A blast killed and wounded several people less than 1 km from Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf's army headquarters in Rawalpindi, according to a witness and a security official today.
''I could see several scattered body parts,'' the witness, who requested anonymity because of the sensitivity of the location, said.
Private television news channel ARYONE said at least one man was killed and several wounded. Geo News channel said the blast was in a van parked close to the city's Ayub Park. News channels' tickers reported there were at least three people killed.
