Pressmart to power e-edition

Hyderabad, Oct 30 (UNI) Hyderabad-based ''Pressmart Media'', a digital publishing technology provider, has been selected to power the electronic edition of The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The company will co-develop, host and electronically deliver the print-replica eEdition of The Philadelphia Inquirer on its new media delivery platform, a company press release here said.

Offering Web 2.0 features that include Blogs, Podcast, RSS and Social Media Integration, the eEdition will be delivered on multiple distribution channels to individuals, enterprises and academic institutions.

Different from web-based versions of newspapers, the eEdition will be available at a regular subscription rate. The electronic edition is scheduled to go live on January 7, next year.
