National Water convention on Nov 1

Puducherry, Oct 30: The Puducherry administration in association with the National Water Development Agency, New Delhi, will organise the 12th National Water convention here on November one.

According to official sources, Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz and Mrs Gauri Chatterji, Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources and Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy would partipate in the inaugural function.

Union Minister of State for Water Resources Jai Prakash Narayan Yadav would participate in the valedictory function on November two.

The linking of rivers would be discussed among the major issues at the convention, the sources added.
