Farmer killed in West Champaran

Betiah, Oct 30 (UNI) Unidentified criminals shot dead a farmer near Sansaraiyya village under Nautan police station in West Champaran district late last night.

Police said Ramakant Prasad, a local farmer, was on the way back home when some unidentified criminals started firing, killing him on the spot.

The body was sent for autopsy and the matter was being investigated, sources added.
