Two engineering students killed in road accident

Ongole, Oct 29 (UNI) Two engineering students of Kandukuru College died on the spot while another was seriously injured in a road accident near Kanigiri Tank, about 100 km from here early today.

Police said the second year engineering students were returning from their friend's marriage at Bestavaripet when their two-wheeler, on which they were travelling, fell into a pit.

The victims were identified as Tottempudi Krishnaiah, hailing from Kattubadivaripalem of Kondeti Mandal and Ch Harikrishna from Ponduru village of Tangutur mandal. The seriously injured student was rushedto Guntur General Hospital for further treatment.
