Three snatchers held

Guntur, Oct 29 (UNI) Police arrested three chain snatchers and seized 32 gold chains worth Rs Nine lakh, and three motor cycles.

The culprits resorted to theft to supplement their income for luxurious life. They would pick posh areas to snatch chains from women and escape in two-wheelers.

Presenting the thieves before newspersons here today, Superintendent of Police Mahesh Chandra Ladha complimented Crime Branch Inspector D Koteswara Rao, two SIS and seven constables for their good work.
