Tanker crushes student, mob sets ablaze check post

Bijnaur, Oct 29 (UNI) A mob today set afire a check post after a student was mowed to death by a tanker in Kotwali area here today.

Rahul -- son of Shubham Singh Tyagi -- was on way to school, when he was crushed by the tanker on the Bijnaur Kotwali (Dehat) trisection, police said.

Irked over the incident, a mob torched a check post and ransacked the tanker.

The situation could only be brought under control after police reached the spot.
