Students set ablaze state roadways bus

Moga, Oct 29 (UNI) Agitators set ablaze a Moga-Kotkapura bound Punjab Roadways bus after a student, who was hit by the bus, died in local civil hospital here this morning.

According to police, Jagjit Singh, a plus one student, boarded a mini bus along with other students from Malke village. At Panjgrain when Jagjit was crossing the road to board on other bus to Baghapurana he was hit by the Punjab Roadways bus.

The boy was immediately rushed to the local civil hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

Meanwhile, agitated students gheraoed the roadways bus and later set it ablaze after alighting the passengers.

The Police nabbed about half a dozen students on alleged charge of setting on fire the bus.
