Rupee opens at 39.38/39 per USD

Mumbai, Oct 29: The Indian Rupee opened stronger by about 6 Paise against the US currency at 39.38/39 per Dollar as compared to its previous close of 39.44/45 per Dollar, as Dollar moved record low against major currencies.

In a less active Inter Bank Foreign Exchange (Forex) market, the partially convertible Indian currency climbed towards the higher level of nine and a half year peak. It is currently trading at 38.3850/3950 per Dollar, dealers said.
