NMDC declares 100 pc 1st interim dividend

Hyderabad, Oct 29 (UNI) National Mineral Development Corporation Limited (NMDC) today declared to pay first interim dividend of 100 per cent based on the performance of the company in the first half of the year.

Last year, NMDC paid a total dividend of 352 per cent-- Rs 465.19 crore. The turnover for the second quarter of the fiscal registered an increase of 17 per cent over the corresponding period last year, a release said here.

The company's Profit Before Tax (PBT) rose from Rs 789.32 crore to Rs 971.12 crore, registering 23 per cent increase and PAT rose from Rs 522.90 crore to Rs 640.02 crore-- a 22 per cent growth against the last year.
