Mumbai's four 'suspects' arrested in Surat

Surat, Oct 28 (UNI) The four people whose sketches were released by Mumbai Police, suspected of nefarious designs have been arrested by the Government Railway Police (GRP) at Surat and handed over to the sleuths of Mumbai Police who took them back to the commercial capital for interrogation today.

The four including the women were arrested yesterday.

The three men Karan Ramdulari Sharma (27), Sharfu Mohammad Ijaz (22) and Mohammad Sahkil Ansari (27) are from Lucknow and the women Anjali (Seema alias Salma) (26) is from Mumbai. They boarded the train from Mumbai but on their journey were recognised and noticed by the train ticket checker and some other passengers, subsequently Surat Railway Police was called in which took them into custody.

A team of Mumbai Police and Anti Terrorist Squad are continuing the further investigation.
